Just spent the weekend composing music for the 48 Hour Hour Film Project International Shootout. It was great to work with before all this, inc. again on another rapid film-making competition.

PBS KBDI’s In Focus recently featured the 48 Hour Film Project in an episode. That episode is now available online here. Check out the 13 minute mark for the full film and an exclusive interview with the cast and crew.

This Sunday, “For You”, which won Best Film and Best Musical Score at Denver’s 48 Hour Film Project, will be on PBS KBDI’s In Focus. The episode will also include an interview with myself and the other filmmakers involved with “For You.” More information over here.

“For You” has just won Best Musical Score and Best Film at the judge’s awards for the 48 Hour Film Project. I’ll be uploading the film soon!

Three short films I composed music for will be premiering at the same event on Wednesday, September 23 at the Mayan Theater in Denver from 7:00-9:00. Requested donation of $8 to attend – the proceeds from this event will go towards submitting these films into festivals.

The event is expected to sell out, so e-mail me if you’re interested in coming and I’ll reserve tickets for you.

“Id and Emma” – A romantic comedy directed by D.W. Alexander

“DMV for Vendetta” – A comedy directed by Maggie Hart

“Dead Don” – A zombie parody directed by Alex Gilbert

The 48 Hour Film Project I did music for just received an audience award for best film. I’ll get the film online after the judge’s awards are announced on September 12.
